MATTHEWS,E.H. The Rosemary Branch, 1856.
Water colour. (7¼x10½)
E.4718-1923.
The Rosemary Branch, still existing at the corner of Shepperton and Southgate Roads, comes within the boundaries of Islington. This view must have been taken from the ground, unbuilt on at the date of the drawing, a little to the south of De Beauvoir Town, near the Regent Canal. Cannonbury Tower is here shown in the distance."
