Waist belt, the front of black silk velvet embroidered in satin and stem stitch with brightly coloured wools; a symmetrical flowering plant, chiefly in shades of red, light blue and cream colour. Front lined with unbleached cotton. The back is of striped woollen fabric. Edges bound with red wool twill tape. It has a curved frame mount and hook for suspension of cast brass, leaf ornament.
