Physical description

'Southend: Seaside Excursions'. A colour lithograph poster showing a woman in a blue bathing suit and an orange swimming cap placing a rug onto the sand; she is waving to her friends behind her who are waving back. The image of the woman is at the top of the poster, the rug resting on a black semi-circle which forms the background for the text. Design is inscribed: 'SEASIDE EXCURSIONS CHEAP RETURN FARE FROM THIS STATION'.
