Object history
This is one print of sixteen contained in a volume, and entitled 'Fraser's Views in Calcutta'. These colour aquatints with small details painted by hand in watercolour were developed from a water-colour drawing by James Baillie Fraser(1783-1856). Engraved by Robert Havell Jr. and published by Smith, Elder and Co.
