Head sculpture, "Greek Head V", glass, enamels and sheat lead, David Reekie, Norwich, 1992-3.
Physical description
Greek Head V is a glass sculpture of opaque and mottled cream-coloured glass and sheet lead. The head and shoulders are in two parts. The head has been made using lost wax cast enamel-coloured glass and has been hand polished. The shoulders are of cast lead glass with hand beaten sheet lead glass collar painted in enamels. The scull cap is of hand-beaten sheet lead.
A notch at the front of the neck corresponds to notch on the inside collar.
