This wallpaper is typical of the pretty, traditional style associated with the Laura Ashley company. The first Laura Ashley wallpapers were modelled on original samples of 18th and 19th century wallpapers and fabrics in the V&A collection. The designer based this particular pattern on an 18th century silk fabric.
