Jug, pear-shaped with spreading foot and small v-shaped spout fitted to the lip. The handle on the opposite side is missing. Painted on the face with of the jug is a large leaf containing a floral bouquet consisting of a rose, chrysanthemum, tulip etc, and flowering sprigs; a butterfly and a caterpillar are distributed over the remainder.
The painting on the face of the jug is in a style and colouring typical of London enamelling.
