This is a poster for an International Fur Exhibition held in Leipzig in Germany in 1930. Largely inspired by the example of the Bauhaus, the professional graphic designer gradually emerged in Germany during the 1920s and 1930s. From 1928 Otto Arpke (1886-1943) had his own studio with ten employees. He became the professor of commercial art in Munich and Berlin.
