Physical description

Pen and ink sketch of a painting on one of the piers at the entrance to the apse of St. Gabriel's Chapel in Canterbury Cathedral. At the centre of the image is a seraph whose wings and drapery are covered with eyes. Above the seraph is a painting of a church. To the right of church is a group of men.
