C. Williamson in The Times Literary Supplement , May 8, 1919), from whom they were obtained by Mr. F. Wellesley, whose collection was sold at Sotheby's in June 1920, when the drawings formed Lot 239. Purchased from the sale of Messers Hodgson and Co, Lot 856, June 6 1928.
