His Portraits of Many Persons of Note fills three volumes with nearly 200 portraits and comprises a pictorial Who’s Who of late Victorian and Edwardian celebrities. Irish poet and playwright William Butler Yeats(1865-1939) was the leader of the Irish literary renaissance and one of the major figures of 20th-century literature.
