The Kings Box at Covent Garden Theatre
Object history
Henry Holland designed the third theatre to be built on the Drury Lane site, and asked Linnell for help in designing the boxes. The theatre opened on 12th March 1794 but burned down in 1809. It was rebuilt for a fourth time in 1812 and still stands today.
