Post Office Notice. St. Valentine's Day. . . . The Public will greatly assist the Post Office by posting their Letters, / Parcels, &c., early on Saturday the 13th February, in view / of the large numbers of Valentines that are sent by post. / It is desirable that Valentines containing, for instance, Cut Flowers, / Bouquets, Confectionery, Toys, Fancy Articles, &c, intended for transmission / by Parcel Post, should be carefully packed by the Senders so as to secure them / from injury during transit . . . / General Post Office, / February, 1886.
