Paul Nash (1889- 1946) Pattern-paper for the Curwen Press Ltd 1927 Offset lithograph E. 1664-1929 Given by Mr. Harold Curwen The artist produced a small unit, an inch or two square, sometimes a drawing, sometimes a woodcut. This paper was used on the cover of 'Saint Hercules and other stories' by M. Armstrong, the Fleuron Ltd. London, 1927 (S. Lambert, Paul Nash as designer, Victoria and Albert Museum, 1975, No. 19). Nash was a printer, engraver and theatrical designer.
