Pencil, ink, and watercolour drawing on paper of a design for an elaborate arch. The arch is composed of four red and white striped posts in a square arrangement. They are surmounted by a half-dome made up of yellow fruits or flowers and banners set within green foliage. Streams of garland span between each post below the dome. A sculpture of an angel tops the dome while other sculptural figures are set at the bottom of each post on low plinths.
