Porcelain, packed with formal foliage and flowers and scrolls, with added decoration of foliage and pomegranates in red and gilt. The painting in red and gilding were added later, probably in Holland. The form of the cup and saucer, the decoration in underglaze blue and the mark (a sun in blue with rays) are copied from St Cloud porcelain.
