This is from a undated pattern book issued by Morris & Co. Many of Morris & Co.'s late 19th century wallpaper designs were by J. H. Dearle, and by other designers employed by the company, working in the style of the decorative arts company set up in 1861 by a group of artists that included the socialist painter, designer and poet William Morris (1834-1896).
