The frame of the model, which is in two parts, is of wood, slotted on the front through which are designed to be seen in the upper section a chequer pattern of stained and leaded glass rectangles. The lower section of the larger part consists of a single stained glass panel and the alternative section on the smaller part is hollow.

Object history | This model was made as part of the Coventry Cathedral Baptistery project, after the initial drawings and before the cartoons. Given by John Piper when he was living at Fawley Bottom Farmhouse near Henley on Thames. RP 76/1515 has been absorbed into MA/1/P1383. Could possibly date to 1958-9. |
