Object history | Broadleys was built for the Yorkshire colliery owner Arthur Currer Briggs and his wife Helen in 1899. The house overlooks Windermere and is now home to Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club. Other designs and drawings by C. F. A. Voysey relating to Broadleys are held in the RIBA Drawings Collection.
