Physical description

Mezzotint portrait of Colonel Tarleton. Tarleton is depicted in British Legion uniform, resting his left foot on a canon, with both hands holding his sword on his left side. Behind him is a cannon mounted on wheels behind which is a man is holding onto the reigns of two frightened horses.
