Object history | At the time of acquisition in 1933, two of the four drawings in this group (E.1345 to 1348-1933) had pencil signatures of John Leech (1817-1864). In 1935 these were revealed to be forgery and erased, and the drawings correctly attributed to Guys, although the published accessions for 1933 has these drawings as Leech. |
