Chinese 'softpaste' porcelain, pear-shaped, with quatrefoil section with narrow neck and expanding mouth. On the shoulder are vine branches with grapes and two small squirrels applied in relief; the remaining surface is painted with insects, bouquets and sprays of flowers.
Overdecorated in London, possibly in the workshop of James Giles ca. 1752-1760.
