Coloured etching. Satirical print showing a sailor, a chimney sweep and other people looking in at the door of a pastry shop while two exaggeratedly dressed dandies are served by a woman behind the counter. One dandy, with an extremely high waisted tail coat and very wide legged white trousers stopping mid-calf is admiring his reflection in a mirror and saying to his dog "Do not fatigue yourself Lion barking at those unfashionable wretches at the door la la tal le la. how do get on Peter my boy? I can't turn my head to look at you" Beside him, 'Peter' is seated on a chair, eating jelly with a spoon and saying "I am doing well this here Calfshead jelly suites my taste forme. I hopes you can pay, as I have parted with all my change for half a quarter of Soap for our next Vash." The woman behind the counter looks towards the door, saying "I wish the creatures would leave the shop as the People will do some mischief I fear." At the door, the sweep says "Twig their vaistes" (waists), the sailor says "I wish we had them on board the Thunder, split me." and a smiling man behind him says "I shold like one of them to make a Tobaccostopher of for the use of the Horse Marines."
