Large dish,very slightly recessed base, low convex sides and flanged rim; fritware with cobalt-blue glaze; inside, carved decoration: in the centre, a standing bird facing left against a background of coiled foiliage; round the rim a scroll design. The glaze continues on the outside stopping short of the edge of the foot.
