This multi-coloured panel made of slate depicts the royal arms of Scotland. Inscribed at the bottom is 'DIEV ET MON DROIT' (God and my right). Inscribed around the coat of arms is 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENCE' (Evil be to he who evil thinks).
