Napoleon Bonaparte is shown leaning over a font with the Bishop of Rochester preparing to christen him, holding a book reading 'when the Laws are made the People have only to Obey'. Beside the Bishop are William Wilberforce and Lord Hawkesbury (in a woman's cloak and cap over his normal dress) saying "I hope he will abolish the Slave Trade" and "you need not say anything about the March to Paris." The ornate font is supported on sphinxes. To the far right, William Pitt gives the name "Deliverer of Europe and Pacificator of the World".
