The bowl slopes inwards sharply under a broad near vertical run. The centre is bossed. The low foot consists of circular vertical band of metal, to which a horizantal circular band of metal is soldered. Engraved on the horizantal band are the initials FDR in roman letters.
Marks on the rim. Town mark OR with a fleur -de-lis above, and a cadlestick? beneath for Orleans
