The design by Lez Brotherston was executed for a production of Michael Pink's ballet "Dracula" performed by Northern Ballet Theatre at the Bradford Alhambra Theatre on September 16th, 1996. The production, based on an original idea by Ken Russell after Bram Stoker's novel of the same name, was directed by Christopher Gable, composed by Philip Feeney, and lit by Paul Pyant. The production toured the country extensively, and was performed at Sadler's Wells in March 1999. The ballet has also entered the repertoire of the Atlanta Ballet, the Colorado Ballet, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, and the Norwegian National Ballet.

Physical description
Costume design for an Opera Singer. The design depicts a full length female figure wearing an 1880's style costume adapted for ballet performance. The costume consists of a tight fitting yellow bodice and skirt with bustle, profusely decorated on the skirt, hem, neckline and sleeve ends with pleated white fabric. Attached to the left and right of the figure are photocopies of contemporary fashions illustrations of the 1880's. On the reverse is a pencil drawing of a female head. Unsigned by the artist.
