Cast bronze figure of Vishnu. Part of a group in which he is accompanied by Shridevi (also called Lakshmi), representing wealth, and Bhudevi (Prithvi) representing the Earth.
A well modelled and finely detailed example of Vishnu pose, moderate wear, copper colour and fairly heavy cast in one piece with the base, which has a slightly frilled edged to the engraved lotus.
Previosly mentioned in the Register as a set of three figures reperesenting the Hindu deity Vishnu, as Krishna, with his two Saktis, Radha and Rukmani.
A pair of Vishunu's consorts forming a triad with Vishnu IM 14-1909 As usual Sri would have stood to the right of Vishnu; she wears a breast band and holds a lotus flower in her left hand, Bhu stood to his left and holds a different lotus in her right hand. The three images have fitted into a shrine.
