This tie-dyed length of gajji, a satin-weave silk used particularly in Gujarat, could be a sari or a skirt, because of the inclusion of the black border, but the width is too short for either. It could also be a waist sash. The black and red colour scheme is reminiscent of the tie-dyed clothing of the Khatri Muslims of Kutch.
