Rectangular panel of white satin, the ground nearly covered with embroidery. This comprises five oval portraits worked in polychrome silks, in elaborate surroundings of metal thread; the largest oval in the centre is Fides, the Latin name for Faith, surrounded by four winged cherubs' heads. She has a stance similar to the figure of Fides engraved by Crispin van de Passe, after Martin de Vos.The smaller ovals show Temperantia (upper left), Prudentia (upper right), Justitia (lower left) and Fortitudo (lower right).
