Object history | Rubbing, by the late Archdeacon Tribe, of architectural relief medallion of plaster composition on an archway in the Arab Serai, Delhi. The Arab Serai is a gateway to Humayun's Tomb complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Serai was built to house craftsmen who were brought to India from Persia to construct the late Emperor Nassirudin Humayun's mausoleum. |
