Middle East, Metalwork. For a dagger (Khanjar), wood covered in polychrome lacquer with a cartouche of a Qajar woman holding a flower, with silver mounts encrusted with stones and turquoises in a cone motif on one side and chased with scale ornament on the reverse. Iran; Arms and armour. Inter-departmental transfer to MES, RF 2011/1170.

Middle East, Metalwork. Chiselled watered steel blade with a pronounced medial rib with a panel of animal combat at the blade root. The ivory grip is carved with figurative motifs and calligraphic panels. Iran; Persian; Arms and armour. Inter-departmental transfer to MES, RF 2011/1170.
