To the left is Prince Henry, turned to front and looking slight to right, his right hand on the table reaching towards an apple. He is wearing pearls around his neck. Princess Margaret is on the right, turned to and facing left. In her left hand she is holding fruit and is wearing a headdress decorated with pearls. The portrait is in an architectural border.
