Physical description

Caricature of the so-called 'magnetic cures' for all diseases, showing a woman seated at a table, with a man standing beside her, both pulling at a bent iron rod fixed to a block on a table; on the wall are portraits of Phillippe Jacques de Loutherbourg and Dr. Yeldell, followers of Franz Anton Mesmer. Lettered with title and inscribed within the design 'Loutherbourg' and 'Dr. Yeldell'.
