Sketchbook containing designs for furniture and plate, a sketch design for a hall wall-paper etc., plans and sketches of buildings including a house at Lisieux, Normandy, and drawings of children, animals and plants. 62 pages (some torn, others missing) of metallic surfaced paper, thread-stitched in paper boards.

Inscribed throughout with personal notes and prescriptions, other notes, including a reference to plants wanted for Melbourne Hall, Derbyshire, lists of works for 'The Architect', and details of the cost of the building and maintenance of a lunatic asylum, names and addresses etc.
