Physical description

'The Grand Duke'. Colour lithograph poster advertising a performance of the comic opera by W S Gilbert and A. Sullivan. The design shows a full length portait of a man in a dark dress coat and breeches, with his tricorn hat on his head at an angle, hair in a stiff band at the back of his neck, medals and ribbons on his coat lapels. All on an orange background, black text and border, cream edges. Signed.
