MAN'S LUNGI A lungi is worn wrapped around the waist. The format and bold colour palette of this example were typical of the wrapped garments of the Punjab, although they are now rarely seen. The pink and green bands are of weft-faced silk, in which the weft threads almost completely hide the warp.
