Object history
These drawings may be related stylistically to a design for a stage setting (no.3226.3) contained in a volume of designs attributed to the Galliari Family, in the Department of Prints and Drawings, nos.32226.1-83. The subject of no.3226.3 seems to show an alternative design for the same stage setting as that in a drawing by Guiseppino or Giovannino Galliari inscribed 'Anno 1791 Primo Ballo', which is an album in the Accademia Brera, Milan.
