Object history note

Given by Miss Mary Peerless.
Exhibited at the Arts and Crafts Exhibition, New Gallery, Regent's Street, London, October 1893. The whole design of which this forms a section is reproduced in the Studio (1894), vol 2, plate on p 22. The block from which the paper was printed is reproduced in Arts Journal (1901), plate on p 332.
