Historical context
The element of the designer's name 'Hapshash' is a corruption of Hatchepset, an Egyptian queen of the 18th Dynasty. 'Hapshash and the Coloured Coat' and 'Jacob and the Coloured Coat' were studio names adopted by Michael English and Nigel Waymouth who cooperated to design posters.

The UFO posters were printed in limited numbers and fly-posted at select sites.
