Woodblock print triptych. Three sheets in ōban format, nishiki-e (full-colour print). Triptych depicting Geisha playing the game 'Kitsune Ken'. Each seated and dressed in highly patterned kimonos. The left hand figure is dressed in purple and green robes with floral decoration. The central figure is in yellow, her obi decorated with cranes. In front of her is a teapot and behind bowls of food. The figure on the right is in pink, purple and green, in front of her, an incense burner, just behind, a stringed instrument. Along the back of the composition figures can be seen through paper walls in silhouette, one of whom is dancing with fans while the rest look on.
