The background of the black and white image is composed of building structures typical of the New York skyline. Aeroplanes are depicted in a stormy sky, thick with dark clouds. In the foreground, a railway line cuts through the buildings, supporting a bullet-shaped train. This appears to be straddled by the outline of a giant, angular, transparent figure with clawed fingers and averted eyes. Beneath the railway line, there are two streets at right-angles, thronging with people and vehicles. Under one of the legs of the giant figure, is a depiction of water and vessels.
