Object history
Another impression with lettering is in the Department of Prints and Drawings, E460-1886. A water-colour of the same subject, showing some variations is in the Department of Paintings, P.71-1968. The design is closer to that of another water-colour, signed and dated ?1852, a photograph of which was in the possession of the late Thomas Balston, and is now in the Department of Prints and Drawings.
