Vicke (Victor) Lindstrand (1904-83) was Art Director at Kosta from 1950-73. He was one of the most versatile of glass designers moving from engraved decoration to the free use of clear and coloured glass. This sculptural shape reflects both contemporary interests in organic and bud-like forms and also anticipates some Italian glass of the 1960-70s (see 0119, Circ.662-1971)
