Physical description

Lithograph titled 'St. Francis being beaten by this father'. Signed in pencil 'Arthur Boyd', and numbered '22-25'. St. Francis is shown lying on the ground, covering his head with his hands, his eyes screwed up and his mouth open as if crying out with fear and in pain. The figure of his father lunges over him with a stick, his mouth also wide open as if shouting in a violent rage.
