Painting, in opaque watercolour and gold on paper, the burning ground; Shiva with his wife, Parvati, and two sons, Ganesh and Kartikeya (Skanda). Sitting on Parvati's lap, Kartikeya is represented giving the heads (from the dead bodies) to Shiva, who, aided by Ganesh, is stringing them as a necklace.
