PASSERI, GIUSEPPE 781 Apotheosis of St Nicholas of Bari Pen and ink and wash on faded blue paper 7 3/4 x 7 1/2 (171 x 165) E•344-1970 PROVENANCE Bequeathed by Miss Elizabeth (Muriel Mary) Glass, 1970 Formerly anonymous. Listed under Passeri because the subject, the composition and some of the details are reminiscent of no. 778. But it must be admitted that the handling is not typical of Passeri and that the attribution is doubtful.
