Inscribed in ink '17 x 5' and numbered 'N 2.'. (The inscribed measurement refer to the aperture of the cut mount, in which the study entered the Museum.)
Object history
A photograph of the completed design for this window, acquired with a collection of photographs from Wilson's studio, is now mounted with this study. It is lettered: 'To The Glory of God in Deep Thankfulness For The Many Mercies Oft-times Vouchsafed This Window Is Offered By: Mary Hanbury 190(?)9' and inscribed 'H Wilson Platt Kent'. Wilson was living at Platt by 1906.
