Object history
This print comes from a copy of John Soane’s book Designs for Public and Private Buildings owned by Soane’s assistant Charles James Richardson. The book went through several iterations, but these prints appear to be from the latest version, published around 1832, as they include lithographs.
The two folio volumes also contain drawings from Richardson’s extensive collection of originals and copies of Soane’s designs.
